MRP Painting & Decorating is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces to the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
- Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Ensure a high level of attention to detail and quality in all work.
- Work in a variety of environments, including outdoors and confined spaces.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary equipment.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety.
- Work a standard 40-hour week with occasional overtime.
- Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a variety of environments.
- English is the primary language of communication.
- Be able to answer screening questions, including previous experience in the field and ability to work in Canada.
