Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Lead for CGDirect online solutions to work closely with business partners and other stakeholders to drive the product roadmap, delivering value aligned to our overall business strategy. This role could be based in Toronto or Montreal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the delivery roadmap for Canaccord's CGDirect online platforms, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and market demands.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, and development teams to ensure alignment between business goals and technology solutions.
  • Foster strong relationships with key clients utilizing CGDirect solutions, acting as one of the primary points of contact for all product-related inquiries and feedback.
  • Provide reporting on the operating budget for CGDirect solutions, implementing cost-control measures and reporting on financial performance.
  • Analyze and document solutions that will enhance CGDirect platforms and other related applications within the organization.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of complex business processes related to online trading systems.
  • Ensure data reliability and validity by collaborating with internal and external customers.
  • Align systems with long-term business strategies.
  • Maintain and prioritize user stories to be added in the backlog.
  • Work with the dev team to determine the best business solution.
  • Work with the QA team to validate test plans.
  • Ensure the feature is deployed as designed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product design, business analysis, process design, and data management
  • Excellent knowledge of trading systems and operations, particularly in the Canadian marketplace.
  • Strong working knowledge of Confluence/JIRA suite;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English is required;
  • Experience with SQL and deriving value from large datasets.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
