Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Project Delivery

Tetra Tech is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our project delivery team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and working within multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and provide input to project scope definition, execution, and planning
  • Take professional and technical responsibility for your work and those under your supervision
  • Work with and as a mentor to produce competent and accurate design packages
  • Review and coordinate the development of supporting 3D models and 2D drawings
Requirements:
  • 5 or more years of engineering work experience in a related field
  • Currently holds practicing registration as a Professional Engineer with Professional Engineers of Ontario, or eligibility to obtain practicing registration
  • Experience across project phases, including Scoping, Pre-Feasibility, Feasibility, Detailed Design, Commissioning, Field Engineering, Contract Administration, and Construction Support
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Specific engineering experience in mining, mineral processing, materials handling, industrial plant and machinery layout and integration, mine hoisting, ventilation, and dewatering, and/or NI compliant studies
  • Graduate of a Canadian accredited mechanical engineering degree program, or other education acceptable to Provincial Professional Engineering Licensing Associations
