Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture - Talent Acquisition team. This individual will play a key role in supporting our diverse client portfolio in a fast-paced environment.

As a Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment cycle, providing exceptional customer service to your portfolio and candidates, and working closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Posting job opportunities, intake meetings, screening applicants, communicating job offers, and monitoring new hires as they meet onboarding requirements
  • Working with portfolio managers to understand their hiring needs and recruitment plans to successfully fill roles
  • Create and maintain job postings that reflect the requirements of each role
  • Assist in maintaining talent pipelines for frequent ongoing demand for recruitment and hard-to-fill positions
  • Manage high volume and mass recruitment
  • Build and foster relationships with hiring managers and candidates to ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or a similar field
  • Three years of experience in a talent acquisition function
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Experience with high volume recruitment and unionized environments is an asset
  • Experience using LinkedIn to proactively source candidates
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a track record of providing superior customer service
