Job Title: Plumber Helper

GURJAS ENTERPRISES is seeking a skilled Plumber Helper to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to assist our plumbers in various tasks related to construction and maintenance. The successful candidate will have experience working with heavy equipment, handling construction materials, and performing routine maintenance work.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections on heavy equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Clean and lubricate cranes, scaffolding, and other equipment to maintain optimal performance.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to complete construction projects.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs to complete construction projects.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications to ensure accurate construction.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Experience working with heavy equipment and construction materials is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. The candidate must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule

The work schedule is 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
