About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Electrician Assistant to join our team at GTB Electricals Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our electricians on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, ensuring they are properly stored and secured.
  • Clean and Organize: Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Site Cleanup: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Machine Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, under the supervision of experienced electricians.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will be working in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Repetitive Tasks: You will be performing repetitive tasks, such as loading and unloading materials, and cleaning and organizing the work area.
  • Attention to Detail: You must have excellent attention to detail, as you will be working with electrical equipment and materials.
Requirements and Preferences
  • Experience: While experience is an asset, we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, as you will be working with a diverse team and communicating with clients.
  • Work Schedule: You will be working 35 to 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
