About the Role

Rising Cool Services Inc is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Staff Member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, ensuring a high standard of hygiene.
  • Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs, keeping them clean and safe for everyone.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse, making sure our premises are spotless.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers regularly, maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
  • Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings, ensuring our facilities look their best.
  • Work with minimal supervision, taking initiative to complete tasks efficiently.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Judgement to handle confidential information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Organized and reliable, with a strong sense of dependability.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions
  • Physically demanding role, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling and handling heavy loads.
  • Repetitive tasks, such as cleaning and disinfecting.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
