About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Green Roof Landscaping Specialist to join our team at Skyspace Green Roofs.

Job Summary

This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $62,000 per year. The successful candidate will have experience in managing landscaping projects and preparing conceptual designs for green roofs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple landscaping projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results;
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for green roof designs;
  • Prepare detailed conceptual designs, taking into account factors such as drainage, irrigation, and plant selection;
  • Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products as needed;
  • Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens, including trees and other vegetation;
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently;
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations;
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • At least 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field;
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues;
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
Working Conditions

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
