We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our life reinsurance systems team. As the Life Reinsurance Systems Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our life reinsurance systems, as well as implementing new technologies to support our business growth.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in reinsurance operations, as well as expertise in software development and technology implementation. You will work closely with our management team to develop and implement strategies to improve our reinsurance operations, and will be responsible for managing a team of developers and analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain life reinsurance systems
- Implement new technologies to support business growth
- Manage day-to-day software development process that supports base products and new products
- Coordinate with project management and quality assurance functions to ensure features and client business needs are met
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)
- Minimum of 8 years of life and health reinsurance, policy administration or related experience
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, .Net and/or COBOL, working knowledge of SQL, database software, and Access
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
