About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Miki's Breakfast & Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all food preparation and storage areas are sanitized and well-stocked.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and appliances, including refrigerators, salad bars, and storage areas.
  • Garbage and Recycling: Remove kitchen garbage and recyclables, and ensure that all areas are kept clean and free of clutter.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels, including stocking refrigerators and salad bars.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week.
