Key Responsibilities- Lubrication and Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine lubrication and maintenance tasks on mixer trucks and other equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan.
- Equipment Inspection and Repair: Inspect and diagnose problems with equipment, and perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Use your technical expertise to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with equipment, and implement solutions to resolve issues.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all equipment repairs and maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Housekeeping and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure that all equipment and tools are properly stored and secured.
- Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent, and a valid 310T (Truck and Coach Mechanic) License.
- Experience: 2 years of journeyman-level mechanic experience, preferably in a heavy equipment or trucking industry.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong technical skills, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and ability to read and comprehend maintenance manuals.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to lift, bend, twist, push, and pull heavy equipment and tools.
