The Role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Winnipeg, MB. As a key member of our Mechanical Industrial Department, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of small to large mechanical engineering projects and provide effective design solutions for multi-disciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage modifications to, or entirely new, balance of plant mechanical systems for industrial facilities.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to execute project deliverables and ensure quality objectives, schedules, and budgets are met.
  • Manage and mentor junior and intermediate staff.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to maintain expertise in mechanical engineering.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering with demonstrated project management skills.
  • Experience with ASME Code Piping/Pressure Vessels, Industrial Ventilation/HVAC, Material Handling, and other mechanical engineering aspects.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to undergo security clearance checks.
