Physiotherapy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Physiotherapist to join our team at Arvan Rehab Group. The successful candidate will work closely with residents in a Long Term Care setting in Smith Falls, Ontario, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote mobility and overall health.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough physiotherapy assessments and create treatment plans with measurable goals for residents.
- Provide evidence-based physiotherapy treatments to residents.
- Collaborate with residents and their families to educate them on health care management and self-care needs.
- Ensure accurate documentation of treatments and progress reports for each resident.
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Supervise Physiotherapy Assistants and students/interns, providing clear instructions for rehabilitation programs and exercises.
- Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and good standing.
- Professional License Insurance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a Retirement home is an asset.
- ADP authorization is considered an asset.
- Current police check for the Vulnerable Sector is required.
