We are seeking a skilled Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at West Fraser Hospitality Ltd.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Registration: Register arriving guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accurate room assignments and processing any necessary payments.
- Group Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, coordinating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
- Room Reservations: Manage room reservations, cancellations, and changes, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with guests.
- Information Provision: Offer guests information on hotel facilities, services, and amenities, ensuring they have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
- Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring maximum efficiency.
- Telecommunications: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide assistance as needed, responding promptly to guest inquiries.
- Special Needs Assistance: Provide support to guests with special needs, ensuring their requirements are met and exceeded.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing guest concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Schedule and Work Environment: This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Languages: English is the primary language required for this role.
Estimated Salary Range: $25,000 - $35,000 per year, depending on experience.
