We are seeking a skilled Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at West Fraser Hospitality Ltd.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accurate room assignments and processing any necessary payments.
  • Group Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, coordinating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Room Reservations: Manage room reservations, cancellations, and changes, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with guests.
  • Information Provision: Offer guests information on hotel facilities, services, and amenities, ensuring they have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
  • Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring maximum efficiency.
  • Telecommunications: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide assistance as needed, responding promptly to guest inquiries.
  • Special Needs Assistance: Provide support to guests with special needs, ensuring their requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing guest concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

Schedule and Work Environment: This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Languages: English is the primary language required for this role.

Estimated Salary Range: $25,000 - $35,000 per year, depending on experience.
