Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks and ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Organize and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including receiving and processing shipments, stocking and retrieving inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Oversee operational logistics of the warehouse, including managing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers and customers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Plan and organize the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and facilities, and ensure that all necessary repairs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments and teams, including sales, customer service, and transportation, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed, and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and filed.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review the work of warehouse staff, including providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and filed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels, including receiving and processing shipments, stocking and retrieving inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
