Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Heating and Air Conditioning Mechanic Helper to join our team at Onkar Heating and Cooling Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will assist our experienced technicians in various tasks related to heating and air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required.
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities and signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
Work Environment

As a Heating and Air Conditioning Mechanic Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and conditions. You will be required to work outdoors, in noisy conditions, and in cold or refrigerated environments.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willing to train and learn from experienced technicians.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions

As a member of our team, you will be required to work 35-40 hours per week. You will be expected to relocate for work, and relocation costs will not be covered by the employer. However, we are willing to relocate for the right candidate.

Language and Work Term

The primary language of work is English, and the work term is permanent.
