Insurance Risk Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Insurance Advisor to join our team at BrokerLink. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, including ongoing needs assessments, insurance advice, and policy recommendations.
• Sell new insurance policies to existing and new clients, while retaining and growing our existing book of business.
• Quote new business through outbound calls, introductory letters, and walk-in clients.
• Collaborate with Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss policy guidelines and underwriting rules.
• Prepare and process insurance applications, issue certificates, and review renewals.
• Stay up-to-date on underwriting rules and workflow processes.
• Participate in training initiatives and community marketing efforts.

Requirements:

• High School and/or Post-Secondary Education.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of sales experience, with previous insurance sales experience preferred but not required.
• Level 1 General license or willingness to obtain.
• Exposure to Epic is an asset.
• Strong customer focus, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check.
