We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Care Provider to join our team at Nazanin Rahnema. As a Child Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a home-based setting.
Responsibilities:- Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Employer's home, working in a home-based setting.
- Tasks: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, maintain a safe and healthy environment, organize activities, prepare and serve nutritious meals, supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and to appointments, tend to emotional well-being of children, and cook.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
- Personal Suitability: Flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, patience, and honesty.
- Screening Questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?
- Experience: Will train.
- Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Support for Indigenous People: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Supports for Visible Minorities: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week.
Language of Work: English.
