Job Title: Forklift Operator/Material Handler

We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators and Material Handlers to join our team at IS2 Thornhill. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for safely operating counterbalance forklifts to move materials within our plant, handling materials manually up to 50lbs, and performing general housekeeping duties.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate Counter Balance Forklift to move skids or bins within plant
  • Handle material manually up to 50lbs to build pallets or put parts away
  • Work in narrow isles
  • General housekeeping duties
Requirements:
  • CSA steel toe footwear
  • Minimum 1 year of forklift experience
  • Experienced handling loads manually and supporting work off the forklift in a manufacturing or warehousing environment
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Certification
  • Successfully complete onsite practical assessment
  • Successful completion of WHMIS, mechanical aptitude test and English comprehension test provided onsite at IS2 Workforce Solutions
