Production Assistant

Bear Ridge Railing Mfg. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant - Laborer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Powered Equipment: Safely operate powered equipment to transport items within the plant, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Material Handling: Check, weigh, and handle materials and products with precision and accuracy, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Sorting and Packaging: Sort, pack, crate, and package materials with attention to detail, meeting production deadlines and quality standards.
- Team Support: Assist machine operators, assemblers, and colleagues in achieving production goals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards and protocols.
- Independence and Adaptability: Work independently on repetitive, physically demanding tasks, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment.
- Manual Dexterity and Attention to Detail: Possess manual dexterity and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks.
- Physical Strength and Endurance: Demonstrate physical strength and endurance to handle heavy loads, meeting production demands.
- Effective Interpersonal Skills: Possess effective interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Dependability and Flexibility: Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to work, ensuring seamless production operations.
- Language and Communication: Possess excellent communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
- Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to meet production demands.
