**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating invoices, ensuring timely posting and reconciliation of revenue recognition, reviewing and reconciling deposits, processing commission deposits and real estate trust deposits, managing incoming and outgoing wire transfers, administering and reconciling real estate trust accounts, preparing monthly reconciliation packages, and following up on outstanding accounts receivables.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Create invoices on a timely basis
  • Ensure timely posting and reconciliation of revenue recognition between Salesforce report and internal accounting system
  • Review and reconcile deposits processed by other team members into the correct accounts
  • Process commission deposits and real estate trust deposits
  • Manage incoming and outgoing wire transfers from Trust and commission accounts
  • Administer and reconcile real estate trust account and provide report to manager
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation package
  • Follow up on outstanding accounts receivables

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Post-secondary education and 2+ years related real estate or development industry experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and prior experience using QuickBooks Desktop
  • Exceptional command of the English language – reading, writing, and speaking
  • Ability to work in a small collaborative team and communicate effectively with management and other staff members
