Product Management Director

The Product Management Director will lead the development of the overall product strategy within the Home Appliances business unit. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve volume, profit, market share, and other goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Road Mapping: Develop and manage product roadmaps to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Product Lineup and Strategy: Build and maintain product lineups and strategies for the Canadian market.
  • Channel Distribution and Retail Strategy: Develop and execute channel distribution and retail strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • New Product Launch Planning: Plan and execute new product launches to ensure successful market entry.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage product lifecycles from development to end-of-life.
  • Product Strategy and Communication: Present product strategies and specifications to internal teams and customers.
  • PRM and Training: Master Product Relationship Management (PRM) and provide training to internal teams and customers.
  • Customer Collaboration and Market Analysis: Prepare customer collaboration, market analysis, product research, competitive landscape snapshots, and channel inventory analysis.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Price, Promotion, and Trade (PP&T) Term Management: Develop and manage price strategies for all products and channels.
  • Demand and Supply Management: Manage inventory levels, weekly and monthly demand, and supply chain logistics.
  • Marketing Management: Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Leadership Experience: Strong track record of effective leadership and management.
  • Product Management Experience: 7+ years of experience in a product management role.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the Consumer Electronics industry is an asset.
  • Language Skills: Bilingualism in Korean and English is required.
