Job Description

Brock University is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support our research initiatives. As a Research Assistant, you will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing data, conducting research, and presenting findings to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze data from various sources, including academic journals, industry reports, and online databases.
  • Conduct research on firms using new age technologies, such as AI, Generative AI, IoTs, and machine learning.
  • Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets to track and analyze data.
  • Assist in the creation of presentations and reports to communicate research findings to our team.
  • Monitor data quality and safety, and ensure that all data is accurately and consistently recorded.
Requirements:
  • Graduate student at Brock University or another university in Ontario.
  • Studies in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience or knowledge of new age technologies, such as AI, Generative AI, IoTs, and machine learning.
  • Excellent MS Office software skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Reliable and dependable, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
