About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Petro Canada. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process customer transactions, handle cash, credit card payments, and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage Inventory and Stock: Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Process Returns and Exchanges: Handle customer returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a Safe and Secure Environment: Monitor store security, report any incidents or suspicious activity, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: Previous retail experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
