Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Jewellery Artisan to join our team at Navratan Jewellers Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and repairing intricate jewellery pieces, working closely with precious and semi-precious stones, and ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship.

About the Role

This is a permanent position requiring 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in jewellery making, including appraisal, design, and fabrication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct apprentices on the art of jewellery making, sharing knowledge and expertise to develop their skills.
  • Appraise gemstones and diamonds to identify rare specimens and detect peculiarity affecting stone values.
  • Examine, cut, shape, and polish diamonds and precious and synthetic gems to bring out their full potential.
  • Fabricate and repair precious and semi-precious metal jewellery, paying attention to detail and quality.
  • Set precious and semi-precious stones in jewellery mountings, showcasing their beauty and elegance.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Permanent employment status.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
  • A regular working schedule of 40 hours per week.
