We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Consultant - Sustainability to join our team at IBM Careers. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their business goals through the application of technical expertise and consultative skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing Solutions to Reach True Business Value: You will work closely with clients to understand their main challenges and develop solutions that help them reach true business value by working through the phases of design, development, integration, implementation, migration, and product support with a sense of urgency.
  • Agile Planning and Execution: You will create and execute agile plans where you are responsible for installing and provisioning assets, testing, migrating to production, and day-two operations.
  • Self-Motivated Problem Solving: You will demonstrate a natural bias towards self-motivation, curiosity, and initiative in addition to navigating data and people to find answers and present solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: You will work closely with clients, partners, and IBM teams to ensure strong collaboration and communication skills.
Requirements
  • Strong Technology Expertise: You will have a strong background in programming languages such as Java, XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, JavaScript, and Python. You will also have experience with operating systems such as Linux/RHEL, Unix, and Windows, as well as databases such as DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Deployments: You will have experience with cloud deployments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and IBM Cloud, as well as containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • DevOps and CI/CD: You will have a strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • General Consulting Skills: You will have excellent analytical, problem-solving, articulation, and client-handling skills. You will also have good communication skills, being proactive about weekly status updates, issue or defect updates, and any communication or documentation required.
