We are seeking an experienced IT Governance Lead to join our team at Supply Ontario. In this role, you will be accountable for developing, implementing, and maintaining our IT governance framework, ensuring it is well-defined, compliant, and effective in managing risks while supporting our strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of established IT governance frameworks, such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001, and NIST. They will also have experience leading cross-functional teams, monitoring and reporting on IT compliance, risk management, and security practices, and creating and maintaining documentation related to IT governance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining IT governance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to assess, plan, and execute IT governance initiatives, risk management, and compliance activities.
  • Monitoring and reporting on IT compliance, risk management, and security practices, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation related to IT governance processes and ensuring they are up-to-date and align with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conducting regular audits and assessments of IT policies and procedures and identifying areas of non-compliance and initiating corrective actions.
  • Managing relationships with vendors providing IT governance tools and services.
  • Staying updated on evolving IT governance best practices, industry regulations, and emerging technologies.
  • Educating and training IT teams and other stakeholders on IT governance requirements and best practices.
  • Customizing and applying established IT governance frameworks, such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001, and NIST.
  • Championing a culture of continuous improvement, driving efficiency and effectiveness in IT governance.
  • Acting as the Supply Ontario's IT governance subject matter expert and providing advice and guidance across the organization.
  • Designing and tracking data-related metrics and establishing Key Performance Indicators to monitor progress of IT governance impact on business and analytics activities.
