About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide on-site leadership and supervision to construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and schedule all construction activities, including manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractor services, to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Safety Management: Monitor and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and best practices to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on-site.

  • Team Development: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by providing guidance, support, and mentorship to construction teams and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) projects.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish, preferably within the Toronto and surrounding areas.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
  • Education and Certifications: Must have P.Eng in Canada. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
