Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Stocker to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Produce Stocker, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and appearance of our produce department, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zoning and organizing the produce department to ensure efficient stock rotation and product visibility.
  • Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain a high-quality product offering.
  • Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced, adhering to company standards and policies.
  • Adhering to food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning protocols.
  • Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and ensuring the department is fully stocked and ready for business.
  • Following Health and Safety guidelines and applying product protection when required.
Requirements
  • Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on customer service and retail experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include prior experience in a produce department or similar retail environment, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
