Detail Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Service department as a Detail Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that new and used vehicles are cleaned, waxed, detailed, and prepared in a timely and thorough manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Service department to ensure that vehicles meet dealership standards.
  • Perform interior and exterior detailing tasks, including vacuuming, steam cleaning, washing, and polishing.
  • Complete minor repairs to damaged paint work.
  • Regularly inspect new car inventory to ensure appearance meets dealership standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow company safety policies and practices.
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and high quality control standards.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work effectively against deadlines.
  • Some knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance with previous detail experience.
  • Good judgment in execution of tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in an active, social atmosphere.
  • A valid British Columbia driver's license and good driving record.
