Job Title: Integration and Implementation Specialist

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a highly skilled Integration and Implementation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Provincial Office, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our Integrated Youth Services (IYS) model within local networks, including the implementation of the PreVenture program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply evidence-informed approaches to change, such as Implementation Science and Quality Improvement, to support system stakeholders in adopting new practices.
  • Engage and foster collaborative relationships with partners to develop a shared understanding and vision.
  • Provide expertise and advice on equity, anti-racism, and anti-oppression to strengthen internal practices and support the implementation and evaluation of IYS delivery models.
  • Develop an understanding of local mental health and substance use systems to support contextualized implementation.
  • Review trends and monitoring data to identify gaps and opportunities to strengthen equitable service delivery.
  • Assist partners in implementing practice and system change through facilitation, coaching, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Use clinical expertise to support partners in planning and delivering the YWHO model and its evidence-based interventions.
  • Complete training to become a certified PreVenture Trainer and deliver the program in collaboration with YWHO Networks, agencies, and/or school boards.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work, counselling, psychology, or a related health or social service discipline.
  • Registration and good standing with a relevant professional college/registering body.
  • At least three years' experience in health promotion/prevention, community health, and/or mental health and substance use services.
  • Expertise in health or mental health program planning and implementation, with experience in the Indigenous health and/or mental health and/or substance use sector.
  • Thorough understanding of principles and practices of Indigenous engagement, including knowledge of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities, cultures, perspectives, and health service providers.
  • Demonstrated commitment to principles of equity, inclusivity, respect, and social justice.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in collaboration with diverse stakeholders and equity-seeking groups.
  • Experience working within an Implementation Science framework or other evidence-informed implementation or Quality Improvement framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and leadership to collaborative partnerships and facilitate program planning.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and produce projects to tight deadlines.
