Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Krystal Vision Optical Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and hiring and training new staff members. Additionally, they will be responsible for authorizing returns, establishing work schedules, and preparing reports on sales volumes and personnel matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices and design team members.
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are working within their designated hours.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
