Job Title: Project Director - Data Quality Management

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead the implementation of Data Quality Management initiatives across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to the Executive Director, Clinical Lead mNPR Implementation, and the Project Leadership Team on Data Quality Management strategies and implementation plans.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including nursing leaders, union representatives, and operational teams, to mobilize and work together to achieve successful implementation and assessment of minimum nursing ratios.
  • Identify and communicate risks and barriers to inform actions and mitigation plans, and provide effective leadership and problem-solving in the implementation of Data Quality Management across nursing practice areas.
  • Execute priority tasks from the implementation plan to ensure reporting and monitoring as required, and promote Data Quality Management as an attribute of a compassionate quality learning environment.
  • Guide and lead assigned areas from the project team and act as a liaison across nursing practice areas, collaborating with key partners to implement, monitor, report, and evaluate Data Quality Management initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a master's degree and ten years of recent experience in complex healthcare environments, including five years of progressive project and/or change management leadership experience.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate policy, processes, and guidelines.
  • Knowledge and understanding of nursing legislation, statutes, regulations, professional standards of practice, and how nursing practice contributes to quality of patient care.
  • Competency in project/program planning, implementation, management, and evaluation, with the ability to analyze performance and evaluation metrics and translate information into process and quality improvement.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion principles and their application in the workplace, with the ability to manage staff and budgets effectively.
