Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, including assigning duties and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Order merchandise and authorize returns, ensuring that our store is well-stocked and that customers are satisfied with their purchases.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that our store is well-organized and that stock levels are adequate.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of office and volunteer staff, as needed.
- 5-10 years of experience in a retail sales environment, with a proven track record of success in supervisory roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and practices, including inventory management and customer service.
