Area Manager

At Encore Global, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to join our team. As an Area Manager - Power Distribution, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of electrical requirements for our assigned venues, ensuring seamless power distribution for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Development: Identify development needs and provide training for team members, assist with career and performance goal setting, and recruit, hire, and manage full-time power distribution staff.
- Safety Compliance: Complete field assessments, assist with site inspections, and assume responsibility as Designated Master Electrician for Encore ECRA License.
- Labour and Equipment Management: Partner with venue and regional leadership to publish and maintain work schedules, create and execute power distribution load-in/load-out plans, and supervise the set and strike of required power distribution.
- 5-7 years of electrical experience
- Master Electrician license
- Education Level: Certificate
- Electrical Knowledge: Working knowledge of 110v-600v, single and three phase equipment, different connectors, power phases, amperages, and voltages
- Lift certification and operation experience
- Broad familiarity with the trade show and production industries
- Customer service experience with both internal and external customers
- Ability to create and implement training programs, safety procedures, and ongoing maintenance and continuous education programs
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CADD programs such as Vector works or AutoCAD
- Ability to work long days, have flexible shifts, and be available 24/7
