Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer Specialist to join our team at 2coms. As a key member of our animal care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to our furry clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing and Grooming: Clean and bathe dogs, cats, and other small animals, ensuring their coats are clean and well-groomed.
  • Clipping and Styling: Use specialized equipment to clip and style pet coats, including hand-scissoring and hand-stripping.
  • Ear Cleaning and Nail Clipping: Clean and trim pet nails, as well as clean ears to prevent infections.
  • Teeth Cleaning: Provide regular teeth cleaning services to maintain pet oral health.
  • Cage and Equipment Cleaning: Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures, as well as work areas and tools.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of animals treated, including medical history and grooming services provided.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring pet owners are satisfied with our services.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in animal care or grooming required. If no experience, training courses in animal handling, grooming, or dog training are required.
  • Certification: Valid grooming certification is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of breed standards and cuts is an asset.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and handling heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, judgment, team player, and organized.
  • Work Site Environment: Pet grooming shop or pet shop.
  • Type of Pets: All breeds of dogs and cats.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to handle pets up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Language: Advanced English required.
Important Information

Flexibility in schedule is required. The candidate will work 5 days a week, including weekends, from 09:00 am to 04:00 pm.
