Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and caring Childcare Provider to join our team at Robinson Battison Household. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children in a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring the children's needs are met and the home is well-maintained.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized living space.
  • Discipline children according to the parents' requested methods, promoting positive behavior and development.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, fostering a sense of independence and self-confidence.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, administering first aid in emergency situations as needed.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for the children, promoting physical and mental well-being.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring the children receive a balanced diet.
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, establishing a soothing and calming environment.
  • Supervise and care for the children, providing emotional support and comfort when needed.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of the children, creating a nurturing and loving atmosphere.
Requirements
  • Availability for shift or on-call work, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the family's needs.
  • Current legal ability to work in Canada, with all necessary documentation and clearances.
  • Previous experience in childcare or a related field, with a proven track record of providing exceptional care and support.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a private household setting, with a 32-hour workweek and flexible scheduling to accommodate the family's needs.

The working language is English, and the successful candidate will be required to communicate effectively with the family and other household staff.
