Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Strategist to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships within Tangerine business units and CB Finance. The successful candidate will also lead the Tangerine Quarterly forecast and Annual profit plan, and 5-year outlook processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and sustain strategic relationships with key business line stakeholders to enable them to deliver on the business line strategic goals effectively and efficiently.
  • Lead and oversee expense management process and policies, including planning, forecasting, variance analysis.
  • Provide financial KPIs to support Bank strategic goals / Objective & Key Results (OKR).
  • Support ad hoc analysis requests as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An accounting designation/MBA/university degree in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in a financial area, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of banking industry products/services.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the perspective of continually seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to distill large amounts of information into compelling, transparent, and insightful reporting.
Benefits

Tangerine offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, RRSP matching, and a generous PTO policy.
