Pacific Coast Cedar Products Ltd. is seeking a skilled Sawmill Labourer to join our team. As a Sawmill Labourer, you will be responsible for feeding conveyors, hoppers, saws, and drying machines, loading chips, sulphur, and processing materials, sorting, piling, and transporting wood products, and removing scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing. You will also be responsible for cleaning machines and immediate work areas. Additionally, you will provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees, provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth, and provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers. This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
