Job Title: Network Architect/Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect/Engineer to lead our team of network and systems engineers at Providence Infrastructure Consultants, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of our IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, databases, security, and backups.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT systems to support organizational operations and growth.
  • Manage storage solutions, backup/recovery processes, and data protection technologies.
  • Develop and implement network architecture and infrastructure designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize IT infrastructure needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in managing storage solutions, backup/recovery processes, and data protection technologies.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, DB2).
  • Knowledge of networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing/switching.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security policies.
