Intermediate Social Media Videographer

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Intermediate Social Media Videographer to join our team at DECIEM. As a key member of our social media team, you will be responsible for creating engaging video content for our social media channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize, shoot, and edit elevated video content for social media across all channels at an intermediate level (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok)
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics, effects, and closed captioning into videos
  • Prepare and present storyboards to the Social Media Manager and Head of Video Production
  • Lead the experimentation and exploration of creative direction to optimize our social channels
  • Support the Associate Manager with graphic design content creation
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager on campaign-related and evergreen projects
  • Help develop and maintain our social media content calendar
  • Stay up-to-date with DECIEM's product knowledge, company information, launches, and campaigns
  • Strong understanding of current trends in the content creation and beauty industry
  • Assist in managing community management accounts within Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in video editing
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects
  • Proficiency with video equipment, including DSLRs, professional film cameras, lighting, microphones, and audio equipment
  • Strong understanding of audio, color, cinematography, video framing approach, and theory
