We are seeking a skilled Beauty Salon Attendant to join our team at Blunt Salon Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming work environment, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain work areas, including the reception desk, waiting area, and treatment rooms
  • Shampoo customers' hair, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Receive payments from customers, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment
  • Book appointments, manage schedules, and communicate with clients
  • Advertise and promote products, sales, or services, ensuring a strong brand presence
  • Clean work areas, including the salon floor, equipment, and furniture

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

  • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, ensuring a smooth transition into the workforce
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment
  • Do not require Canadian work experience, making it an excellent opportunity for those new to the country

Support for Youths:

  • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, ensuring they develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed
  • Provide awareness training to employees, creating a welcoming work environment for youth

Support for Indigenous People:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees, creating a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers

Support for Visible Minorities:

  • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, ensuring a fair and inclusive hiring process
  • Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees, promoting career growth and development
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities
