About the Role

We are looking for an experienced driver with a valid AZ class license and air brakes endorsement. You will be required to operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, load and unload goods, and oversee the condition of your vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate and maintain our fleet of tractor-trailers to transport goods and materials across various locations.
  • Load and unload goods from trailers, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Relay information to central dispatch and receive updates on cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid AZ class license and air brakes endorsement.
  • Experience in heavy haulage driving, preferably with a Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively relay information to central dispatch.
  • A reliability record, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
