Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Geriatric Psychiatrist to join our team at Penticton Regional Hospital. As a member of our Psychiatry department, you will have the opportunity to work in a welcoming community setting with a dedicated and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide geriatric inpatient management within the acute care setting, including the 16-bed psychiatric unit and psychiatric consults to medical/surgical units and the emergency department.
  • Be an integral member of the seniors mental health community team and provide outreach to primary and community residential care.
  • Have opportunities for collaborative work with tertiary geriatric care, developmental disability mental health services, and teaching opportunities with medical students.
  • Participate in leadership development opportunities through Interior Health's NAVIG8 Program.

Requirements
