Job Summary

Division Eight Door Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Automatic Door System Technician to join our team. As an Automatic Door System Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining exterior and interior door systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install exterior and interior door systems, including prefabricated products, in accordance with blueprints and specifications.
  • Repair and service interior door systems, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
  • Determine layout and installation procedures for door systems, taking into account customer requirements and site conditions.
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations, ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including hand and power tools.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in door installation and repair, or equivalent experience.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and other relevant certifications.
Work Environment
  • Work outdoors and at heights, in various locations.
  • Non-smoking environment and adherence to safety protocols.
