Millwright Technician

Precision Rentals is seeking a skilled Journeyperson Millwright to join our team in Red Deer. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing centrifuge equipment, machinery, and mechanical components.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Install, align, fit, dismantle, and move centrifuges, skids, motors, hydraulic systems, and pumps.
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, loaders, and forklifts to position machinery and parts during installation, setup, and repair.
- Inspect and examine centrifuge and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
- Assemble machinery and equipment before installation using hand and power tools.
- Stay up-to-date with Precision Rentals' core values, key beliefs, and safety culture.
- Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call and overtime as required.
- High school diploma.
- Registered Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright.
- 2+ years' experience working with or on drilling rig equipment (asset).
- Valid Vehicle Operation License (abstract required).
