We are seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at Silver Hills Bakery. As a key member of our Projects team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and improving our food manufacturing processes within the Sprouted and Gluten Free bakery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become familiar with the equipment and processes of the Sprouted and Gluten Free bakeries and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with Plant Management to provide technical support for process-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions to minimize production downtime and ensure consistent product quality.
- Lead and/or participate in projects related to process improvements, equipment upgrades, and new product introductions.
- Develop and implement process improvements to eliminate bottlenecks, such as adjusting production sequences, modifying equipment setups, or reorganizing workflow.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards.
- Proven experience with process optimization, data analysis, and project management.
