We are seeking a skilled Financial Assistant to join our team at Satnam Financial Services. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing various financial tasks, including bookkeeping, accounting, and data entry.

About the Role

This is a permanent position working 30-35 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping and accounting, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliations and journal entries
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Manage general ledgers and accounts payable/receivable
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A college diploma or equivalent experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
