About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer and Helper to join our team at Right Choice Builders Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites
  • Measure and prepare materials for rigging and hoisting
  • Perform pre-operational inspections on equipment and machinery
  • Clean and maintain cranes and other heavy equipment
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications and pave and rake asphalt
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Work Environment

As a Construction Laborer and Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work outdoors, at heights, underground, and in confined spaces. You will also be exposed to noisy, dusty, and hot conditions.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail required
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player
  • Hardworking and reliable individual
