This dynamic company is looking for a skilled Design Engineer to contribute to their Civil Engineering Division from our Burlington office. As a critical component of their continued success, this role offers an exciting opportunity to grow professionally and contribute meaningfully.

A typical day involves:

  • Developing and implementing engineering designs and analyses, including storm and sanitary design, water distribution system design, and storm water management modeling.
  • Completing design calculations based on engineering principles, meeting applicable regulatory codes and standards, and conveying design information to CAD staff for drafting completion.
  • Preparing technical reports.
  • Executing under direct supervision of senior engineers and continuing professional development through various technical assignments.
  • Coordinating projects with internal and external teams, including architects, other engineers, clients, and review agencies; and other related duties as assigned.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering and Professional Engineer's designation (P.Eng.).
  • A minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
  • Strong Civil design software skills and working knowledge of hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software with relevant project examples.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Excellent technical report writing skills.
